My family and I had the greatest stay at the sanctuary treehouse resort. I don’t even know where to start. What an amazing place. The treehouses are outfitted with all the amenities and special touches that you need… The Jensen family created all this and they are expanding. It’s a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the Smoky Mountains and all the attractions at pigeon Forge.

The kids had a blast finding all the built in quirks at the tree house. The drink slide and trap door were the favorites. It was our first time traveling to the area. I'm glad we chose this location. It is a short drive to stores and restaurants, but still feels secluded. We preferred this over the crowds of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Absolutely incredible experience and we would highly recommend Sanctuary Treehouse Resort to everyone! We stayed in the squirrels gone wild treehouse and we loved it! So many thoughtful details! It was quiet and serene and the bed was very comfortable! We loved relaxing in the robes and watching the World Cup on the deck! Great location! Very convenient to shopping and dining!

We had an absolutely amazing time at The Sanctuary Treehouse Resort! We stayed in the “Squirrels Gone Wild” treehouse which has one king bed and two bunk beds.
The unit has absolutely every amenity you could possibly need including a microwave, fridge, bowls, cups, cutlery, coffee maker, etc. The treehouse also has a great air conditioning unit, smart TV, great shower and the bed was so comfortable! The upstairs deck comes complete with plenty of chairs including a couple of Adirondack chairs to enjoy the wood burning outdoor fireplace. The lower covered deck is the perfect place to entertain or watch the game on the over head flatscreen TV.
The Treehouse also includes a trapdoor from the upper deck to the one below, a slide from the upper deck to the one below and plenty of swinging seats so needless to say, the kids or grandkids will love it!
The resort is in a quieter area of Sevier County but literally only about 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge and approximately 20 minutes from Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
We are from this area but love coming here to getaway for a few day’s. The Sanctuary Treehouse Resort is just the perfect place to make new family memories!

“Favorite trip ever!!!”, proclaimed our 9yo son and 6yo daughter. Mom and dad had a great time too! Can’t say enough great things about this place…there is not one detail Sanctuary missed - it’s an absolute delight to discover all the little well-placed and well thought out intricacies that made out tree house stay such a delight. We left with full hearts and a lifetime of treasured memories. The scavenger hunt was so well done! We all enjoyed it and appreciated the humor woven into everything.

Sanctuary Treehouse was an amazing place to relax for a few days with my dog and kids (9, 7, 7). The slide, secret door, and swings kept my kids busy while I was able to relax on the balcony by the fire. The scavenger hunt was surprisingly physically hard (for us parents) due to the terrain- bring tennis shoes. Overall, a very nice experience.

Fantastic family stay! So many fun details for kiddos and adults, though there are many attractions nearby the Treehouse Sanctuary was our destination. We had cozy campfire time, cookouts on the grill, and lots of downtime together while the kids were on the slide or exploring the grounds. Our family of five fit comfortably in the cabin. What a warm and magical place - we can’t wait to return.

We honestly can’t say enough good things about sanctuary tree houses from the treehouse itself stocked with treats and drinks , to the FUN scavenger hunt It was a beautiful day for a hike and some fun with ARMy guy!!!! To the alien and dinosaurs to the treasure at the end and yes there were great treasures at the end. To the Owner leaving a little special something !! If you haven’t been your missing a jewel !!

And last but not least … we have to mention the heated toilet seats🤣🤣🤣 so my granddaughter has it in her Christmas list 🤣🤣🤣.

The pride the owners have in these properties shows . We will be back!!

We had an amazing couple of nights in Squirrels Gone Wild with our Grand daughter of 9 . She was sad to leave and just wanted to live there forever
( her words) Every detail of the treehouse is so thoughtfully done . The treehouse is practical but so fun and interactive . The beds are really comfy . The location is perfect . We will always remember the memories we made here and are looking forward to coming back.

Truly the best experience ever in a tiny home/cabin or in this case a Treehouse where the squirrels have gone wild! My wife and I stayed 4 nights and next time we are bringing the grand daughter! Every detail of these treehouses were clearly master planned. The decor and theming is phenomenal. I don’t want to give too much away. All I can say is check it out. You will not regret it.

We arrived at "Squirrels Gone Wild" on my oldest daughters 6th birthday. The attention to detail on the theme is incredible! This is no ordinary treehouse experience! My husband, our puppers and I stayed 3 nights in Squirrels Gone Wild and loved every minute of our time there! The theme was hilarious, we loved it!! This was by far the most relaxing trip to the Smokies we have ever had! The treehouse was so inviting and we took full advantage of it. We spent so much time on the bottom deck in the swings just chilling. It was so quiet and peaceful. The bed was so comfy and the linens were superb! We loved the pebble floor shower and the whiskey barrel vanity! I have no doubt we will return!

I was astonished by the treehouse, wow, wow the details from the decor we stood in the”Squirrel gone wild” all the details throughout. We went there to celebrate our son 10th birthday.

There favorite part was going the slide, we had a cookout . Thank you for making it so kid friendly we enjoyed our stay . We are thrilled to say , that we will be back and tryout the other treehouse .

I highly recommend Sanctuary treehouse resort , the owner is so attentive, she even stop by to said hello. Indeed, it was excellent experience with the service providers! Offering 5-star service is a great way to ensure customer satisfaction.

We had a wonderful stay in the squirrels gone wild treehouse. We had our 2 dogs with us. They were not sure about all of those things hanging around and looking at them the 1st night, but they got used to them. We loved being able to sit on the porch with the little fire place every evening. I would definitely stay again.

These Squirrels Have Gone Wild!
We just spent five nights in the brand new Sanctuary Treehouse Resort in the Smoky Mountains!

I’ve been a bit obsessed with staying in a treehouse ever since I knew they existed as a “thing,” and I felt SO lucky to have scored one of the first reservations at this luxury treehouse resort. We have been looking forward to this trip since last year, and it did NOT disappoint!

Our treehouse was “Squirrels Gone Wild” - every little detail was perfect! There literally were squirrels going “wild” all over the treehouse (note the pictures - so funny). The owners have a great sense of humor. 🙂

Aside from the obvious things, like a theme, the treehouse was truly *luxurious*. I mean, I never knew how much I needed a heated, light up toilet seat … but I do not want to be without one now! I also need rotating stars and clouds projected on my ceiling every night. My boyfriend has a very long “to do” list (thank you Amanda & Brian lol).

Speaking of the owners, even though they were hard at work every day, expanding their new resort, they were also incredibly responsive and kind. They were always on call if anyone needed anything, and immediately got back to any emails (including those with silly questions like: “what does *this* switch do?”).

The location (in Sevierville, TN) was great! I was a bit worried we’d be far from the National Park … but we were VERY close to Pigeon Forge and wow - are there a ton of things to do there! Also, we were only 20 or 25 mins. from Gatlinburg and the park, even on the busiest of days.

So thrilled to have spent time here! Hope we left our little squirrels in as good of shape as we found them. …except for the poor guy over the shower - he looked like he needed some assistance (or hair of the dog). 🙂
