About this treehouse
Welcome to Don’t Stop Be-Leafing TreeFort Treehouse, where the legend is large, the laughs are plentiful, and the adventure is bigger than Bigfoot himself.
Tucked among the trees at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort in Sevierville, Tennessee, this immersive Bigfoot-themed treehouse sleeps up to six guests. Located minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Dollywood, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Don’t Stop Be-Leafing TreeFort Treehouse is perfect for families, friends, Bigfoot believers, and anyone who enjoys a little mystery with their Smoky Mountain adventure.
Some folks say Bigfoot is difficult to find. Judging by this treehouse, he has simply been busy decorating.
Inside, playful details make it feel as though you have discovered Bigfoot’s personal treetop hideaway. Framed photographs capture his supposed adventures with famous faces—from Dolly Parton and Babe Ruth to Michael Jackson, Jesus, the Jensen family, and the Sanctuary Treehouse Resort team. Bigfoot feet rest on the bed, footprints climb the back doors and continue up the wall, and humorous signs, leafy décor, a hair sample, and even a replica Bigfoot toe add to the evidence. Apparently, the big guy has been living quite a life.
The adventure continues with a 20-foot slide, escape hatch, secret ladder, drink chute, bucket pulley, swings, rope climbs, hidden beds, interactive furniture, unexpected surprises, and so much more! These world-renowned interactive features are designed and handcrafted in-house exclusively for Sanctuary Treehouse Resort.
Included with every stay is a one-mile interactive scavenger hunt through the private Sanctuary Treehouse Resort property. Continue your search for the legendary creature, watch for Bigfoot’s hidden treasure box, and claim a prize if you find it.
Funny, imaginative, and wildly creative, Don’t Stop Be-Leafing TreeFort Treehouse transforms a family vacation or friends’ getaway into a legendary Smoky Mountain experience.
The evidence is everywhere. Bigfoot was here—and honestly, he has excellent taste.

This place is amazing, my whole family enjoyed it, including the dog. I would highly recommend staying here. The treehouse was decorated so well and the interactive features were fun for all. It's location is great, outside of the super busy areas but also not far from many activities. We can't wait to come back.

This little place is just the coolest place we've ever stayed. Our treehouse theme was Big Foot, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The owners thought of EVERYTHING and then some and then some more and stopped at nothing to provide a very unique experience while supplying all the amenities we could have possibly asked for. It was everything we wanted and more for our girl's trip across the beautiful state of Tennessee! I do want to mention that 3 of us stayed in a room that can sleep 6, but unless you have small kids, 6 would be extremely crowded as there is only a small corner for suitcases and such. We raised the bottom bunk, which to our surprise became a small table top bar which is where we put our suitcases and things. Worked out perfectly for us. The other thing to consider if you plan on someone sleeping on the top bunk is that the ladder rungs are very small and go up the wall so they are straight up, and the bed is very high. The queen trundle was brilliant but when pulled out, takes up all of the walk space so anyone sleeping on the side opposite the bathroom will have to be very careful to get around the trundle during the night. This did not bother us at all, but could be problematic with a larger group. Also worth noting, there is only a separate room for the toilet. The shower can be made private only by pulling a giant curtain across the room. But what do you expect??? It's a treehouse!!!! Who can say they've vacationed in a treehouse?? The only negative thing that I can say about our stay (and this is only negative for me because I prefer comfy soft beds) is the king size bed was firm to the extreme (not just a little) - but this is a personal preference for me and you can't please everyone. All in all, we are extremely happy that we found the Sanctuary Treehouse Resort and chose to stay here. It's beautiful, peaceful, and so fun. Kids would absolutely LOVE this place!

What an awesome place for our mini-vacation. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the bunk beds, slides, swings and scavenger hunt. Close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to enjoy the attractions of those towns as well. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend to anyone planning a vacation to the area. We’ll be back.
