Meet Tree-Mendous Fun TreeFort Treehouse, a playful treetop hideaway nestled among the 40 private acres of Sanctuary Treehouse Resort in Sevierville, Tennessee. Sleeping up to six guests, this one-of-a-kind Smoky Mountain treehouse experience delivers big adventure, cozy comfort, and zero “Are we there yet?” energy.

Inside and out, Tree-Mendous Fun TreeFort Treehouse is loaded with world-renowned interactive features designed and handcrafted in-house exclusively for Sanctuary Treehouse Resort. Race down the 20-foot slide, send refreshments through the drink chute, tackle the rope climb, relax on the swings, climb the secret ladder, discover the escape hatch, hoist treasures with the bucket pulley, uncover surprises around every corner, and so much more! Warning: screens may mysteriously lose their appeal.

An original black bear painting by local artist and Jensen family daughter Ava Jensen adds heart, personality, and a meaningful connection to the wildlife of the Smoky Mountains.

Outside, spread out across the upper and lower decks, prepare dinner on the Weber gas grill, or gather beside the outdoor wood-burning fireplace.     We really enjoyed our stay! We had spent two days at Dollywood prior to going here, and we used this as our base to explore Great Smoky Mountains. Although the resort was further from the park, it was a great, different type of adventure.

    It is close to a lot of amenities, and we enjoyed hanging out under the tree house watching some World Cup, reading, and having some drinks. The kids had a blast sliding down the deck and climbing back up.

    Would recommend. Would come back.

    Our kids 9 and 6 loved every part of this treehouse. And we loved that it was close enough to activities but tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. Everything is well thought out! We grilled out, watched the sun go down and stars come out while kids chased fireflies. Bunks were a hit, as well as the slide, swings and secret hatch. Have already shared this gem with others who may stay in future.

    We really enjoyed our stay! We had spent two days at Dollywood prior to going here, and we used this as our base to explore Great Smoky Mountains. Although the resort was further from the park, it was a great, different type of adventure.

    It is close to a lot of amenities, and we enjoyed hanging out under the tree house watching some World Cup, reading, and having some drinks. The kids had a blast sliding down the deck and climbing back up.

    Would recommend. Would come back.

    Our kids 9 and 6 loved every part of this treehouse. And we loved that it was close enough to activities but tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. Everything is well thought out! We grilled out, watched the sun go down and stars come out while kids chased fireflies. Bunks were a hit, as well as the slide, swings and secret hatch. Have already shared this gem with others who may stay in future.

    Blown away! The level of care and attention to detail that is put into our cabin is unmatched. Everywhere you look is another thoughtful detail and amenity. My kids will never forget this trip. We will be back!

    Absolutely unique “GLAMPING” experience. Beautiful scenery with a river running behind the sanctuary. The staff is quick to respond if needed. Little amenities makes the experience cozy ( heated toilet seats, outdoor fireplace, gathering place to eat outdoors & watch TV). Community kitchen was very useful. Thank you for the memories!

    I love when places exceed expectations. This isn't just a place to stay, it's an experience. The room feels part cozy cabin, part childhood fantasy, and part “why don’t we live here now?”

    From the outdoor space to the little details inside, it’s one of those stays that makes the lodging feel like part of the trip, not just the place you sleep. It's close to Sevierville which has several great restaurants but far enough that you feel like you're staying in the woods.

    If you’re planning a Smoky Mountains getaway and want something more memorable than a standard hotel, this treehouse stay is definitely worth adding to the list. 100% recommend and would stay again.

    Loved it! Great place for families or couples. All the amenities, clean, comfortable beds. The treehouse features are great for kids and adult kids too. Loved the outdoor fireplace for cool mornings and coffee outside or for evening s'mores. Convenient for everything in the area, yet away from the chaos. Would definitely stay here again and again.

    Tree-Mendous was the most adorable, clean and fun place to stay for our vacation to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. It was sooo nice! The features made it fun for my kids! I wish we had more time so we could have had a few days to just "stay put" and enjoy! The owner was super friendly and helpful when I called to book, as well. Upon arrival, my children were greeted with a Christmas tree, personalized stockings and gifts wrapped under the tree from the owners. We can't wait to come back!

    We found Sanctuary on the internet and couldn’t be happier. The Treehouse was TREE-mendous!!! Upon arrival we found it perfectly neat, clean and organized. Absolutely great attention to the detail including the snacks, fireplace wood and starters , the innovative sinks, the lighting, the comfortable deck chairs, the nightly stars on the ceiling, etc. The biggest problem we had was there was so much to do in town, which is very nearby, but you just don’t want to leave the Treehouse!!! We came all the way from New York and we will not hesitate to come again😍We want to especially thank the office manger for the very useful coupons to local eateries(which we took advantage of) as well as the tips on the best supermarkets to shop at. One more thing, be sure to watch the videos on how to operate the various amenities at the Treehouse!!!

    Unique, peaceful, luxurious, kid-friendly, convenient, the list goes on - stop looking and start booking!
    Well, I'm not sure who was more excited, us or our kids, but this place was pretty freaking awesome, with so much attention to detail and nuanced touches of luxury that were just really impressive. When we arrived, I think we spent forever checking it all out before we remembered we had to get our stuff out of the car! The trap door was great, and brought back childhood memories, and the slide was well-used, including by myself and my wife - hey, it's faster than the stairs getting to the lower level!

    We had fun with the drink chute, and the lower level swings were a blast, as well as the outdoor TV to catch some sports while unwinding from the day. The rollout queen bed was a hit with the kids, along with the bunks, and the log pillows. The shower and bathroom areas were really well-done, and laid out nicely considering the living areas. The little things were nice, too, like the heated and lighted toilet, the starlight on the ceiling, the convenient charging ports, the kitchen amenities, and so much more. The list goes on with all of the details and features, but, do yourself a favor and book a stay to experience it yourself. It's like nothing else out there, and, if your kids are like ours, they'll be asking to stay there indefinitely. We did consider it since they would put them to work, but decided against it since our kids are pretty awesome, and we have work for them to do at our house already.

    Oh, the check-in process and general communication was smooth, as well, and the staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating. They even have some awesome relationships in the area with certain discounts, which we took advantage of, as well.

    One last thing - the location is fantastic, as you're tucked back off the main stretch, but, right there near everything, too, including a fairly short (by Sevier County standards especially) trip to nearby towns and attractions.

    If you're looking for a unique place to stay during your visit to the Smokies, that really covers all the bases, stop dilly-dallying and check this place out! You won't be disappointed.

    A Unique and Fun Experience
    My wife and I spent an enjoyable time and had a unique experience for our anniversary in the Tree-Mendous Fun treehouse. It is everything the website and travel articles promised, a cozy interior complete with hideaway extra beds, spacious deck with built-in fireplace and a Weber grill that I used to prepare our dinners. Although we are both seniors, we enjoyed using the slide from the deck to the ground and the swings on the open air ground floor. The treehouse was clean when we arrived, the beds comfortable, and the heated toilet seat was a nice touch! The treehouse is well-appointed with artwork, two large screen TVs (one up and one down), and a special night light that projects stars onto the ceiling. The grounds are well-maintained with views of the surrounding countryside. More treehouses are currently being built so there is some construction noise during the day, but it doesn't detract from the overall serenity of the area, especially after the work crews leave in the afternoon. Sanctuary Treehouse Resort has my highest recommendation for anyone looking for a unique travel experience. We hope to visit again.

    Amazing Family Trip!
    We had a great time at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort! The resort is great for both adults and kids. Our son loved all of the extra touches - fun decor, escape hatch on the deck, swings, etc. The owners were extremely personable and willing to offer recommendations. The location was fantastic - the property feels secluded, but is close to local ameneties and attractions. We look forward to going back agin.

    Spring break trip
    My family came and stayed during spring break! This was the first vacation my kids cried leaving! Tree-Mendous treehouse was absolutely amazing! Family rested and played wonderfully! The owners/staff were all so friendly and accommodating! We will be back!
